Replace the internal speaker wiring with something more appropriate (thicker gauge), and you have a very decent system for very little money. But, if you get it for a fair price (which shouldn't be too difficult) then you should be pleased. If you get scammed for a high dollar amount, then I apologize. I just don't really think that they are meant to compete with high-end component systems.Д«ottom line is: The DiVinci products are actually a very good deal for the price. They could definitely use more inputs, but they are really designed to be 'all-in-one' kind of systems anyway. They are plenty powerful, although I'm sure that their specifications are far higher than their actual capabilities. I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of their receivers as well. The electronics (such as crossovers) are of better quality than you might expect, but the internal speaker wiring is inadequate in my opinion. Cabinet construction is not the best, but the finish is nice, and if you don't beat them up too bad they should last a long time.

Most of the actual drivers themselves are made by Eminence, and are of very good quality. That aside, nobody is paying anywhere near those prices, so who cares? Their stuff actually sounds very good (for the price). Yes, their 'suggested retail prices' are absurd. The dealers are supposed to have a retail storefront in order to become a dealer. If you could find out the name of the 'parent company' that is selling them out of vans under false context, Divinci would probably revoke their contract. Actually, DiVinci does NOT allow their products to be sold that way. Buying them out of a van is NOT the only way to purchase their products. It's pricing should be a the level of memorex, ge, durabrand, jensen and the like! These morons sell them for $300, you can get a decent pioneer, yamaha, kenwood, panasonic, jvc, sony for that price with far better capabilities and specs. If you look at the back of the divinci receivers, you see how cheaply made it is and how very little Not even the $7000 denon or $5000 sunfire receiver puts out that amount of rms per channel.ДЄt least harmon kardon is accurate with their information, even though they don't make high powered receivers, a 90 watt per channel harmon kardon is an accurate reading like those made by any other high end gear such as sunfire at 200 watts per channel or denon or sony at 170 watts per channel. Yeah right, a 400/watt per channel at 8 ohm divinci receiver for under $300. They put not only false pricing, but false specifications on all of their products. the companies might be legal, but not their acclaimed distortion of their products.
